CHRISTMAS TREE – JOURNEY OF THE SOUL

The wholeness of all you have lived becomes the light that shines within you.

When you see a Christmas tree from a distance you see a tree with a star at the top, all the decorations and the lights.
The decorations add their part, the bare tree alone does not become the “Christmas tree” that shines in the darkness.

It is those who make the effort to place the lights, the ornaments and the star at the top who create the wholeness of the tree that illuminates the night.
It is the totality of it all, as if the Creator is the tree wishing to see how “you” will decorate it and thereby bring light to the Creator who is also the star placed at the top when the branches have been illuminated.

Pause and feel your heart.

See your life as a living tree of light.

Each branch holds a theme.
Each needle an event.
Each light a memory that has shaped you.

Nothing has been in vain.
All of it now shines together.

Feel your spine as the trunk
strong
supporting
alive.

Feel the life force rising from the roots
through your whole body.

And above you
the star is lit.

Silently say within:

I honour all I have lived.
Everything becomes light within me.
I am the wholeness of my journey.
My inner star shines.

Rest in the knowing that nothing is missing.
You already are what you have become.
